Get Involved

Volunteer, donate, or serve on a committee. Habitat Walton County has been building houses since 1996 — and we rely on you.

We rely on volunteers to build houses and to help with the committee work involved in selecting and supporting families, developing church partnerships, recruiting volunteers, and fundraising.

Volunteer

From corporate team building to community service for students, clubs, churches, or community groups — and individuals helping at events and the ReStore — there are many ways to donate your time.

  • Build days and construction support
  • Events and fundraising
  • ReStore operations
  • Committee service

To volunteer on construction or events, contact Claire Jackson, Community Development Director, at (850) 608-2051. To volunteer at the ReStore, contact Angel Dixon at (850) 608-2149.

There are Many Ways to Give

Funds and materials needed for building are donated by individuals, churches, community organizations, banks, and local businesses. All donations are tax deductible and used as specified by the donor. Ten percent of undesignated gifts are forwarded as a tithe to Habitat’s international work.
